NEW FEED-IN TARIFFS FOR GREAT BRITAIN & NIROC PAYMENTS FOR N.IRELAND


The Government has declared new improved feed-in tariffs will come into effect in April 2010 for electricity generated by wind turbines in Great Britain. The Northern Ireland Assembly has followed suit by doubling the Renewable Obligation Certificates (ROCs) issued for units generated. more

TARIFFS TO BE EXEMPT FROM INCOME TAX


The Pre-Budget Report by the Chancellor on 9th December 2009 stated that income from renewable energy systems will not be taxed. This is due to come into effect from April 2010. more (BBC News)
